Jay Wilson - MDiv, MSW:
Jay Wilson works primarily on the Homeless Identification Project and with the emerging ministry needs of our guests. Jay is a proud graduate of Wartburg College, and has received an MDiv from Luther Seminary and an MSW with clinical emphasis from the College St. Catherine/University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Prior to working at the Welcome Ministry, Jay worked for at the Metropolitan Center for Independent Living in St. Paul , MN as a disability rights individual advocate.
Jay has worked with religious communities and diverse organizations as a presenter, educator, and advocate in cross-movement anti-oppression, sexuality and gender identity, Self-Advocacy movement, and community access. He is Approved for Call through Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries, and serves ELM as chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Ellipse.
