Donate
Donate your time.  Volunteer to help anytime on Tuesdays between 10 am and 5pm (our guest will be here from 2 pm until 4 pm), on the 2nd Thursday of the month (6:00 – 8:30 pm) or the 2nd Saturday of the month.  Contact the director for more information. 

Donations accepted:

  • Socks and Shoes
  • Clothing
  • Bedding
  • Orthopedic supplies
  • Non-perishable food items

  • Vouchers, Gift Certificates, tokens, passes and tickets (especially for transportation and public toilet use).
  • If you have something that you think we may be able to use, contact the director for to see we can use it.

The Non-Rummage Sale:
Instead of having a rummage sales to get money for donated items, those of you who live in the Bay Area and would like to get rid of their junk for our non-rummage sale, please donate your items to the Community Thrift Store on 623 Valencia (415-861-4910) in the name of the Welcome Ministry #197.  The profit from the sale of your donated items will be given to the Welcome Ministry.  The Thrift Store will pick up large furniture items and boxes and bags (in excess of 20) Sunday through Thursday.  You may bring donations to the Thrift Store anytime of the year and they will give you a receipt so you can deduct your donations from your taxes (at the door or with pick-up).
